The alumni of the Electrical and Electronics Engineering Department have come together to extend their support to the victims of the recent disaster in Wayanad. Demonstrating their solidarity and compassion, the alumni collected a total of ₹1,61,500 to contribute towards the relief efforts.
The donation was handed over by the College Principal, Dr. Mohammad Sekoor, to the Kasaragod District Collector, Shri Impashekhar. This generous gesture highlights the commitment of the alumni towards social causes, particularly in times of crisis.
Key individuals present at the handover ceremony included Professor Jayakumar M, the Head of the Electrical and Electronics Engineering Department, along with esteemed alumni member Smt. Purnima, currently serving as an Electrical Inspector, and Mrs. Manju, a dedicated staff member of the Electrical Department. This initiative reflects the strong bond between the alumni and their alma mater, as well as their dedication to making a positive impact on society.
