On October 12, 2024, the football spirit came alive in Kozhikode as Ritorno 3.0, the LBSCEKA Football Tournament, kicked off with electrifying energy and excitement. Twelve teams over 150 passionate players from various batches came together, creating unforgettable memories of friendship and joy.
In the Legend Cup showdown, the Golden Cleats, led by the Shammi Joseph claimed victory while Sujith’s LBS Legends earning the runner-up spot. The participation of the teachers’ team captained by Prof. Praveen Kumar added a magical touch, proving that age is just a number. As the tournament unfolded, Legends FC delivered a dominant performance, crushing the finals with five goals to lift the Winners’ Cup. Meanwhile, Turning Fork FC (2023 pass-out) secured the runner-up spot, charging through the semi-finals defeating the previous year’s champions.
Adding to the excitement, the “LBS CEKA Kerala Chapter logo was unveiled during the Ritorno 3.0 opening ceremony by Prof. Praveen Kumar. Selections for the All-India Alumni Football Tournament, set to be held in Kochi this December were also finalized for both the Open and Masters Categories.
