On October 27, 2023, the Oman chapter of LBS College of Engineering Kasaragod Alumni Association (LBSCEKA) hosted a grand Onam celebration at the Golden Tulip Hotel in Oman. The event was a colorful and lively affair, bringing together alumni and their families in a joyous celebration of Kerala’s rich culture and traditions.
The day began with a warm welcome from the organizers, setting the tone for the festivities. Members of the alumni association took center stage, showcasing their talents through a variety of cultural performances. These included traditional dances like Thiruvathira and folk songs, which beautifully captured the spirit of Onam. The performances were met with enthusiastic applause, creating an atmosphere of unity and nostalgia.
Following the cultural showcase, attendees indulged in a sumptuous Onam Sadya, a traditional feast served on banana leaves. The laughter, smiles, and friendly competition made the event unforgettable, leaving participants with cherished memories of the day.
