On Friday, January 26th, 2018, CEKA UAE celebrated the 25th anniversary of LBS College’s founding alongside its own 12th anniversary. This event marked the realization of a long-held dream for every active member of CEKA — to host a grand family event in collaboration with esteemed college officials. The idea had been in the works for some time, and Founder President Mr. Ashraf had the privilege of being part of the initial discussions for the college’s 25th-anniversary celebration in Kasaragod.
The event, held at the Pearl Park Inn Hotel in Dubai, ran from 4 PM to 10 PM and included a celebratory dinner. The turnout was remarkable, with nearly 200 adults and 50 children in attendance. The presence of LBS Principal Dr. Mohammed Sekoor T and Dean of UG Studies Dr. Praveen Kodoth added a unique and special dimension to the celebration. Their participation was deeply appreciated by all members of the CEKA family.
During the event, both the principal and dean shared their messages with the alumni, providing updates on the current status of the college and discussing ongoing initiatives. They also extended a warm invitation to all alumni to attend the Global Alumni Meet, scheduled for July 28th, 2018, at the college. They emphasized the importance of alumni support in contributing back to the college community. In a moment of recognition and appreciation, the event honored the founder members and past presidents of CEKA UAE for their contributions to the organization. Additionally, CEKA presented the first installment of the Auditorium Fund to the principal, symbolizing the alumni’s commitment to supporting the college’s growth and development.
