The alumni of LBS College of Engineering came together for a spirited football tournament on August 16, 2005, at the Police Turf, Kasaragod. Organized exclusively for all alumni batches, the event saw enthusiastic participation from former students who returned to the field with the same energy and spirit they once shared during their college days. A total of ten teams competed, making the day both competitive and nostalgic, as friendships and memories were rekindled through the beautiful game.
The tournament was inaugurated by the chief guest, Shri. Sibi Thomas (DySP and Actor), whose presence added inspiration and pride to the occasion. He was joined by Shri. Joshua P Y from the college Physical Education Department, and Shri Praveen Kumar (Dean – Academic), who both emphasized the importance of sports events in strengthening bonds.
FC LBSCEK (2025 batch) won the Mains 7s cup beating LBS Staff Alumni FC Strikers in the finals. Parakkum Thalika FC (2013 and 2014 batch) won the Masters Cup 5s beating Champz 2k12 (2012 batch) in the finals.
