In a nostalgic celebration of legacy and connection, LBS College of Engineering, Kasaragod, witnessed its first (1997) batch reunion after 28 years under the banner “Revenir” at the college campus. The event brought together alumni, old and new faculty members, in a heartfelt gathering marked by camaraderie and reflection. Convenors welcomed and thanked all with warmth and grace, setting the tone for a memorable occasion. A poignant tribute was paid to departed batchmates, reminding all of the enduring bonds forged during college days.
The faculty members fondly reminisced about their experiences with the first batch and were felicitated by the present Dean of the college, Prof. Dr. Praveen Kondoth, himself an alumnus of the inaugural batch. A financial contribution, collectively raised by the alumni, was formally presented to Principal Prof. Dr. Mohammad Sekoor T., reaffirming their enduring commitment to the institution’s sustained growth and development. The function was graced by the presence of Prof. Dr. Muliyar, the college’s Inaugural Principal, who addressed the gathering and shared profound insights from his tenure.
After the official college function, the Alumni gathered at Gateway Taj, Bekal, for a grand celebration and gala dinner. Alumni from across India and from around the world—including the Middle East, Europe, the Americas and Australia —traveled to join the celebration. The event became truly memorable, highlighted by the vibrant cultural programs presented by the alumni. Revenir stood as a vibrant testament to shared history, unity, and the timeless spirit of LBS Kasaragod.
