On March 1, 2008, one of the first alumni meetings of LBS College of Engineering Kasaragod Alumni Association (LBSCEKA) took place in Bangalore, marking a significant milestone in the history of the association. This event was a momentous occasion, bringing together former students and staff from LBS College for a day of reunion, reflection, and celebration.
The event was graced by the presence of several esteemed college staff members who had played a pivotal role in the academic lives of the alumni. Among them were Principal Mohammed Sekoor, who was a key figure in the college’s leadership, Alumni President Praveen Kodoth, and Lecturer Mahesh. Their attendance underscored the strong bond between the college and its alumni, and their participation added a touch of nostalgia and significance to the proceedings.
Alumni from various batches, specifically from 1997 to 2005, attended the meet, reflecting a broad spectrum of the college’s history. After the initial welcome and introductions, the event included a series of informal sessions and discussions, allowing everyone to catch up and reminisce about their time at LBS College. It was followed by lunch that offered a perfect opportunity for attendees to relax and continue their conversations in a more informal setting. Overall, the first LBSCEKA alumni meet celebrated the shared experiences and achievements of the alumni while reinforcing the sense of community and connection that defines the LBS College family.
