The inauguration of the LBSCEKA Bangalore Association took place at Sobha Lakeview Clubhouse on October 20, 2024. This marked a significant moment for the Bangalore chapter of the LBSCEKA, which had been informally functioning for many years. Recognizing the need for a formal body, the association officially launched to streamline its activities and foster a more organized network.
The association was inaugurated by Professor Praveen Kodoth and President Joesam Zachariah. Jishith Gangadharan, the Secretary of the association, delivered a warm welcome speech, acknowledging the efforts of all those who had contributed to the formation and growth of the alumni association over the years. Following the speeches and the formal proceedings, Treasurer Anoop Karicheri expressed gratitude to everyone who attended and supported the association by delivering the vote of thanks.
The inauguration was combined with a vibrant celebration of Onam. The LBSCEKA Bangalore community embraced the Onam spirit with a beautifully designed Pookkalam, the presence of Maveli, and the traditional Onasadya. Adding to the festivities, the members also participated in Onam games, including a lively Vadamvali. The launch of this formal body promises to enhance alumni engagement, offering a structured platform for professional networking, mentorship opportunities, and collaborative efforts among former students of LBS College of Engineering in Bangalore.
